Dr. Akdag provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psycho-educational assessments to school-age children and adolescents (6 to 16 years). A child is typically referred for an assessment when parents, teachers, or other professionals working with the child express concern regarding development and/or cognitive (thinking and learning), behavioural, or social-emotional functioning. Assessments may also be required as part of ongoing monitoring of a child’s development and function when there are risks or concerns about change in function due to a medical condition or life event.
